Making Space for Your Grief
Grief doesn't always move in a straight line. Some days may feel manageable, while other days can bring the loss right back to the surface. Anniversaries, familiar routines, places, photographs, or simply reaching for your animal and remembering they're no longer there can bring up unexpected waves of emotion.
Therapy can give you space to talk about the parts of your grief that may be difficult to share elsewhere. We can make room for sadness, anger, guilt, relief, love, and everything in between. You don't have to choose between honoring your animal and continuing to live your life. Both can exist together.
