Animals & Pet Bereavement
Animals hold a special place in Michelle’s heart—she’s a lifelong animal lover and advocate. She has worked, volunteered, and interned in settings involving canines, rodents, horses, and dolphin-assisted therapy. She understands the profound emotional bond we share with animals and offers specialized support for pet grief and bereavement, honoring these relationships as meaningful and deeply healing.
Michelle integrates Animal-Assisted Interventions through her therapy dog, Rex, and clients are welcome to include their animals in teletherapy sessions if helpful.
She treats teletherapy with the same professionalism, structure, and focus as in-office sessions, creating a space that feels intentional and supportive.
Inclusivity & Community
Michelle supports adults on their healing journeys through complex trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, trafficking, narcissistic abuse, and experiences of domestic violence. She also works with individuals navigating transitions out of high-control spiritual or religious systems, as well as those exploring conscious, consensual, and expansive relationship dynamics, including ENM and polyamory.
Her practice is grounded in inclusivity and cultural humility, warmly welcoming clients across LGBTQ+ identities, BIPOC communities, and a wide range of relational and life experiences. Michelle offers an attuned, trauma-informed space that honors each person’s lived experience, inner wisdom, and capacity for healing, growth, and reconnection.
She values transparency, mutual respect, and open communication, and works best with clients who approach therapy as a collaborative and intentional process. Clear boundaries help create safety and consistency within the work, allowing therapy to remain focused on meaningful growth rather than surface-level solutions.
